DIET

Your kitten's diet is the most important factor to their life long health. Of course love and environment are very important too, but the diet is what fuels their cells, builds the immune system. Just as you feel better when you eat better, so do your pets! We recommend a raw diet such as what your kitten from us has been raised on. We work closely with a local distributor of the frozen raw diet we use in our cattery, and will be happy to help you get started buying directly from them.

We understand this does not work for everyone, or may not work all the time. We've compiled a list of alternate options below, that may be easier for you to start with, that your pet sitter is more comfortable with, or easier to transition an older pet off of dry onto a healthier raw diet.  Some cats enjoy eating freeze dried foods, others do not like it dry. We usually recommend reconstituting the dried food in warm filtered water. Broth can be used instead when more enticement is needed (be sure it's onion free).
