To help you get ready for the new FUR Baby
In full disclosure, the products links below are affiliate links. We have taken the time to compile the list below to help you make sure you are completely ready to welcome home your kitten when that time comes. Ordering through our links helps us offset the expenses of raising your kitten, and the rescue work we do as well.
CAT TREE
Must have item
Style and size is up to you. there are plenty to chose from! Our cats tend to love being in high places, so the taller the better. At least taller than that couch you don't want scratched.
Scratching is in a cat's nature. It should not be attempted to remove the behavior, but rather focus this natural instinct to an appropriate outlet, such as a nice big kitty tree.
We have observed in many of our cats that they have a preference to sleep on a surface that is similar to their own coloring. This makes sense that they would want to be camouflaged while sleeping, as a natural survival trait. (It doesn't seem to matter for scratching and playing).

These are just a few examples that I have caught the smarter cats trying to order.
Litter boxes and litter
What we use:
PURINA TIDY CATS XL LITTER BOX SYSTEM, BREEZE SYSTEM
There are so many options available. The final choice comes down to what works best for your household. I will share a few ideas. If you're getting one of our kittens, you will want to get large-jumbo-XL size box. If you have a multi-story home, you will need at least one litter box per story. If you have multiple cats, you should have at least one box per cat (yes, they will share) having enough boxes goes far in preventing accidents.
Exercise
Temu also has many affordable
cat toys to keep your kitty busy
Cat Food
We are typically a fresh (or frozen) raw-feeding cattery. However, off- grid life is not allowing for that right now. So we are feeding a variety of freeze-dried raw, canned, and super premium dry food. So, here I will share the variety we are using. If you are getting a kitten from us, we will let you know which one is working best for your baby.
